Meryl has a TEFL Certificate and a PGCE in Modern Languages. With over 20 years experience, Meryl has taught in France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Thailand, Peru, Madagascar and Ecuador.

Favourite Destination: Ecuador was my favourite country, as I learnt Spanish, and was able to experience and explore a beautiful and diverse country
Best Foreign Cuisine: My favourite Ecuadorian food was empanadas, a bit like a British pasty...I avoided the speciality of guinea pig
Top TEFL Tip: Remember to stick to your learning objective, but be flexible in how you will achieve this adapting to the circumstances as necessary. Most importantly, make the lesson fun for both yourself and the learners!
