  • Understanding Young Learners

    The key to successfully teaching young learners is being able to understand them. We’ll look at how we can use metacognitive awareness to create effective teaching.

  • Teaching Young Learners

    In this part of the course, we’ll look at how we can put our knowledge of metacognitive awareness into practice, as well as look at some key teaching strategies.

  • Classroom Management

    It can be tricky getting the right approach when it comes to teaching children. We’ll look at how to create a positive learning environment and engaging teaching.

  • Teaching Language Skills

    In this part of the course, we’ll look at the most effective ways to teach the four key language skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. We’ll run through some great activity ideas.

  • Teaching Vocabulary

    Teaching vocabulary in EFL is crucial to a student’s language development and communication skills. We’ll go through the most effective ways to teach new vocabulary.

  • Topic Based Teaching

    Topic Based Teaching is common practice in EFL teaching, especially with young learners. We’ll look at how we can put it into practice in the classroom.

  • Games & Activity Ideas

    In this part of the course, we’ll go through some great activity ideas and games we can use with young learners in the classroom.

  • Songs

    Songs can be a great resource when teaching young learners. We’ll look at how we can incorporate songs in our lessons and share some great examples.

  • This course includes one assessment consisting of ten questions, which you will need to achieve 75% or above to pass. The course is designed to challenge you, but there are no trick questions and the answers are all within the course.
